focus on business faqs and small business

So I am going to a community college, and getting associates there, I am majoring in in international business. My plan was to do that transfer to a university and get my bachelors and move to japan to have a career there and in the united states. Only problem is, I have to take language courses before i transfer, and they dont teach Japanese, so right now I was deciding on either Korean or Mandarin, I have some interest in Korea, and learning Korean, and I know Mandarin would be the most helpful but Japanese was my all time life dream. Now I dont know what to do. Because I want to learn one language, start it next year and as I transfer, continue to learn that language so i can become completely fluent in it.

ill be 25 this year.. im just wondering if a lot of people had them

Ok so I’m flying to spain in spring break and I wanted to know if the airline is good.
Do they have a screen on the back of each seats?
If I’m a minor would they let me go to first class or even business class? What do you think?

my dad is on a business trip right now. he used to go on them all the time when he was younger. he was a lot more used to them then. but now he stopped. somehow he got stuck because one of the younger guys in the place where he works couldn’t go. so he had to go on one. and he is on a trip. …and i’ve talked to him on the phone, and he sounds really unhappy. since he hasn’t gone on them in a while, he isn’t really happy about the whole thing at all. …what can i do to cheer him up when he comes home??

So I found out thatif I switched majors from Computer Science to Computer Information Systems, I would graduate earlier. Thoughts? Its pretty important, since its what ill do with the rest of my life.
In my college, the CIS has these CS courses past the introduction lower division classes:
Databases (1 year long)
Ecommerce
Software Engineering
*Security
(or)
*Networks
The rest are fundamental business courses(Intro accounting, finance, management, macro micro econ, etc). My college is an expensive private college and it ranks fairly high in business. Coming from a good college, can I expect to be able to find a decent job with a CIS degree? I guess I’m a little confused, because a CIS is not as in depth as a CS or Business degree. I don’t know what I would do, what exactly could I do with this education? Would I still be able to land a programmer job if next semester I went on to Statistics over Calculus?

It will be Thursday evening (5:30-8:30 PM) at a fine hotel. The dress code is Business. And I have no idea on what does it mean for women. Any suggestions? I will appreciate any help.

I don’t mind if you say I am, I’ll tell you why I think I might be (my friend said I was), I’m 12 btw:
- I hate staying up late on sleepovers, I tolerate it but I’d prefer to just call it a night at en
- I hate taking risks and I stay on the safe side
- I don’t have any social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, MSN or Tumblr because I want to be a political journalist and am very focused in achieving my dream – I think websites like these can be addictive and would be distracting.
- I love politics and am really interested in the news and what happens in the world.
- I don’t have any crushes on any boys yet
- I’m quiet and shyer although I do have good friends
- I hate Drama and Dance – anything where I have to perform or stand out- I feel awkward and I can’t do it.
- I feel like an adult cos I’m not interested in crushes or makeup or stuff like that – I’m interested in world issues, business, politics, government and the law
- I hate disobeying my parents for friends; family comes first. I hate doing anything mean to my parents or deceiving them.
- I buckle under peer pressure and am not very good at saying no and standing my ground. I used to feel really depressed but I’m ok now.
- all I want to do is get educated and go to uni and start my career – I’m not interested in boys just yet, or blackberry phones or ‘normal’ teenage girl stuff.
- I can be serious and formal and i guess I feel most comfortable like that.
- I’m never gonna take drugs, drink or cigarettes, I’ve witnessed the effects and I will never ever go down that path and I never want to try a cigarette
Am I boring? Is it ok to be like I am?

and created and left behind, recession, has Harvard University lost a lot of credibility in the Business community?

I run a cell phone store and I am bout to buy some phones in Cash price from an individual and not a business how can i show those purchases in my business because i am not gonna receive any receipt with that any help will be appreciated!

Hey YA, I am hoping someone here has some insight on how I can get my dang work van registered. Heres the story..
My father & I own our own business. We started it in 06, part time. My father recently left his other FT job to run do our business full time (almost 1yr ago). In 09, we bought a work van, but, he financed the van in HIS name. Eventually we got it lettered and registered & insured it commercially.
We got a letter from DMV stating that our registration was expiring and that we needed to re-new it.. No problem, right? Wrong.
My father went to DMV, and they told him that they needed the title transferred over from the bank to DMV (or something along those lines..) and we had to call the bank and request a transfer. Well, after about 3 weeks, they finally got back to us and denied our request because our business doesn’t have any credit history. (All our materials, everything we buy, we pay cash)
It seems paying cash upfront screwed us in the long run because now we are stuck with a van that we cannot seem to register!
Does anybody have a solution to this? My father wants to take the lettering off of the van for now and register it back residential because we still owe about $10k on the van and we don’t have the money to buy it outright ATM.
We went to our local bank today and there solution was to apply for a loan with them, but we have to figure out what the business has made annually (which, we have no clue honestly)
My father is definitely not a business man, he is a great worker, but running a business is not for him. He doesn’t even know how to turn a computer on, let alone file paperwork and keep stuff upto date. We pretty much just collect checks from our customers, deposit it in our business acct, restock materials, etc and whatever is leftover is basically what we made. I am attempting to figure everything out, but I am only 22 years old and have absolute no business background so I am clueless in this as well!
We gotta do something, we cant be working out of a residential van (potentially a fine) and we cant be driving around a van with no registration!
(We plan on trading in & buying another work vehicle in a year or so, that one we plan on attempting to get in the business name.)
Any idea’s guys? Any help is appreciated!!
