The woman in the front office seems to talk too much – to the extent that she blurts out things I’m not so sure are appropriate.
She makes her way to the bathroom and says “I got diahreah, y’all, I’ll be in the bathroom.”
And when she picks up the phone she says “We’re short staffed, please bare with us since we’re getting a lot of phone calls.”
And when I’m in the front answering the phones to help she says to the customers “It’s me and the reporter here – she usually doesn’t answer the phones, she’s helping out…you know, we’re very busy.”
She’s NOT saying this our regular clients – but, rather, ordinary people calling for information.
My boss has told her not to tell customers this on the phone, but is it wrong for her to say these things at all? She seems to give people waaaay too much information about herself and the business.

It’s a simple business idea.
What if there was a nice store that had everything imaginable (cookware, furnuture, shelfes, tables, decorative items, instruments, and anything else you could make with it save houses, including supplies of bamboo seed or raw bamboo lumber) and had a restaurant in it with low priced, but good, Asian food, namely bamboo shoot salad?
Would you shop there?
Would you eat there?

Today’s consumers can be unforgiving when they find out that the due process of care/protection has been violated. The outcome in many of those situations is: law suit, which equates to money. Money for court costs, restitution, lost business for bad reputation, etc. For this very reason, many large organizations will have their own “legal team” on staff, or a prepaid contract with a law firm to represent them in various legal situations. For the smaller companies who lack the resources to have a proprietary legal team, one law suit can be enough to put them right out of business, win or lose. What is the true value of the money to the “wronged” consumer?

First let me state that I believe in walking without strife, but there is a time to take a stand and this is that time.
Miss Walsh has used our owner’s name to attack other businesses in our industry. Yes, I believe it’s criminal, but the authorities view it as a civil matter. The woman has a company called Wiggin Out in Newport Beach California.
Sadly, I have to ask such a question. If it was just me? Hey, I’d just let it pass, but Constance and/or her representative at Wiggin Out salon frequently attack this wonderful kind hearted lady.
She has a very astute social media person as an escape goat in case of trouble. She can always say she didn’t know. Any suggestions?

I was in a very unhealthy relationship for 5 years. I had a daughter with this man, and kept trying to make it work. He hit me several times ( a few when the baby was in my arms) he comitted crimes, hung out and drank with minors, cheated on me, drove wrecklessly and crashed every car he ever owned. He raped me, he left our daughter laying in her urine in the crib all day while i worked, He tried to start an amateur business and recruit people to do dirty videos. I left him several times, but he has always intimidated and manipulated me to stay, eventually I got away, and he went to jail for robbery. now, 3 years later, he is soon getting released and wants to be involved in our daughters life. He writes her cards daily and seems to be doing well(the past 3 years) but I dont trust him. I have no proof of most of the things hes done, so i dont think i can keep him away..but id like at least mediated visits and strict guidelines. Aside from that, ive kept in touch with his mother, she just in the past 2 years began talking to him again because she didnt approve of his lifestyle. She is a very strict and respectable person (hasnt been in his life since he started screwing up untill now)and loves her granddaughter very much, so i let her see her. She is protective of me and my daughter and always supported my decisions.
I want to go to her and tell her of some of the horrible things her son has done to me so she can really understand why i dont want him around. I want her to know the severity of the situation, not seem like im just trying to cause problems or be selfish, But how do i do that? Its keeping me up at night, i feel like i need to tell her for my sanity, but its uncomfortable to think of how to go about it.

The odveous answer is crime cost the state money while writing tickets brings money. The attitude with our sheriff’s department in OC Ca. is, “if I don’t left the rock I won’t have to deal with what’s under it”
So, our car gets broken into or someone does fraud online against my business there’s always some excuse not to deal with the problem. Like saying, “oh, that’s a civil issue when it was a clear case of ID theft and fraud!! It is frustrating to get the cops to do anything, but if for some reason you forget to wear a helmet or J-walk you are like some freaking criminal.

I spoke to a woman who works in the events industry and I had a conversation with her about opportunities and training as well as career progression in the industry. She was very helpful and at the end of the conversation I asked nicely who I could contact in the company that she works for. She gave me two names and business card.
I called Steve Jones* one of the contacts she gave me and I introduced myself and said my name and told him I was referred to Julie Simms* about the company ( Julie Simms was the person I spoke to about events industry). I told him I’ve just graduated in events management and would be interested in working with that particular company because of its well known clients they work with and the career progression provided. He said he was flattered I called him and knew so much about his company and he said I should look into the vacancies section of the website if there are any job vacancies. I looked at the website and fund a vacancy which I thought was interesting. I went to a careers advisor to help me with CV and cover letter. Then was ready to apply. Before I applied asked him for an informal meeting to know more about the post, he said he doesn’t have the time so I applied for the vacancy and he replied through mail that I was unsuccessful as he needed someone with 2 years experience, not someone fresh from uni. I did all I can and he was very impatient with me thinking I keep pestering him and desparate for a job, what happened?

On 8/26/10 i went to a buy here pay here to get a car. i put 500 down as a down payment on an Isuzu trooper 2000. when i got home i found out that the cars alignment was was off, the front bumper looks like its not the original because its not connecting right, the drivers seat did not sit right and you couldn’t move it back or forward, the drivers air back looked like it was opened before and the dash board was pushed out, there was some tape left on it that showed that the car was painted over, I took the car back on 8/30/10 and they traded it out for a 2000 dodge durango which 2 days later the oil pressure kept dropping to zero so i took it to get checked and they said that the cylinder 4 was misfiring so I took it the auto shop they told me too on 9/2/10 and they had it ever since. On 9/8/10 i went to the dealership to get my money back and they gave me a 1995 ford Taurus loner car which they turned on for me and i went home. my bf called me and told me that the transmission went out in his car so when i went to get him the ignition would not turn and officer tried for me and told me that it was broken and started suspecting me of stealing it. the next day my bf was able to get it started so i went back to the dealership and waited for 3 hours for the owner and told him that i wanted my money back. he said no and because my bf told him that i was getting a lawyer he flipped out and called the cops on us and told them that we were not allowed on his property anymore and the officer said if we came back it would be trespassing and we would be arrested. so we left. i have no car at all and because of this car situation i have not been able to get to work. because i am salary my sup told me today that if i cant take care of this problem by next i get fired. i need my 500 to get another reliable car. What can I do? I tried to contact their finance department and they keep giving me the run around and hang up on me. I am and was never ignorant or rude with any of these people even though I should be. Am I not in titled to my money back. I contacted a lawyer and he said that it’s better if I handle it because it’s going to cost too much and I do have a liable claim. I was supposed to pay 250 today and 250 on the 24th of sep to equal it all out to 1000 as a down payment and then start to pay for the car on oct 8. so i never paid anything on the car and i still don’t have a car. Can someone please help me? They’re not on the better business bureau. I’m in VA if anyone is wondering.
