It is possible for you to go to university in New York or New Jersey; absolutely. However, the process of being granted advanced standing based on your current coursework – you will have to talk directly to someone in admission at each university. It is possible, but it’s likely that you won’t be able to pick up exactly where you are in your Indian degree, since the Indian and US uni systems are set up so differently.
What sort of visa will you have in the US? I ask that because depending on all that, you may or may not need a US student visa, and you need to apply for that from India. That is something you’ll want to discuss with the universities here as well.
Some good universities in NY (near or in NYC) and NJ, which accept “transfer students” like yourself (people who are already in the process of a degree), and which have a good reputation for their business degrees, include: Rutgers New Brunswick, Fordham University, New York University, Baruch College, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Stevens Institute of Technology, Wagner College. There are others as well, but start your research with these few.
