I can’t speak for the business community, but I think more of Wharton now.
Let’s say that you’re the dean of your own college, and your admissions director comes to you and says, “Look. We’ve got this candidate here who’s not particularly smart on paper, but he’s going to be the President of the United States one day. Should we admit him?”
Are you telling me that you’d say no?
Of course, you can’t know the future with certainty, but neither can you sit there and tell me that a person who rises to become president does not possess certain ineffable qualities that make him or her stand out from the crowd, which would probably be apparent to an admissions officer.
Bush “Created and left behind recession”. Are you really that stupid?
He was an admitted “C” student. Perhaps we should raise our educational standards of presidents.
Nah, we all new that kids of multi-millionaires got a break on admissions. Even those that are dumb as a post.
