As the story goes… 400 years ago my ancestor was in the woodlands and came upon an olive tree. He took this tree and was careful with it. He raised it and very careful sold the olives and also planted some. Over time these little plants grew up and provided more olives to sell. With all the money he made from these sales he could aford to buy more and more trees and a small plot of dirt to have them on. Over a period of 40 years he became the only source do to his excellent business acumen.
Now as time goes on this business is passed from son to son for many years and over time got bigger and bigger and even sprouted off into many areas.
Now I got to ask, why should my family who over a period of 400 years worked hard and make great success of our endeavors, have to support people who are just not wanting to work. If someone can take a tiny tree and turn it into what we have, anyone can especially now a days when minorities get everything handed to them. So why is it still like pulling teeth for these people to get out of bed before 6 PM?
Thank you.

Good for you young man.Stay the course. If we had more young people like you the country would be much stronger.
I am sorry you squandered your ancestor’s dream to the point you can’t buy a shirt. I am very sorry for your plight. I volunteer with a charity that sends donated clothes to the impoverished. Feel free to emai me and I will get you a shirt, brother. Keep your head up!
I was saying to my family that they ought to bring back the old law that you must own property to vote. Because obviously the welfare receiving bums are just voting for the people who give them everything for free.
Sadly, there are people that have plans for your money, and have no compunction about using law enforcement to get it if you refuse to pay. A few of them are Republican, but most are Liberal Democrats.
Why are minorities singled out as if the majority dosen’t take handouts also. Gahh! And if I call it racist then I’m pullin the race card. Thats America. Divided we are.
You mean the disabled and the elderly?
You must, because there’s no program out there that pays people to not work and there hasn’t been since 1996.
Because your “family” is not hiring them or paying them fair salaries.
You want a society, you have to pay for it.
Because unfortunately, not every family teaches its offspring the importance of a strong work ethic. In fact, it’s almost non-existent outside of military families and a select few others. While the parents may have worked very hard for their success, they fail to tell their kids why the hard work is important and often manage to spoil them. So then their kids are lazy, contribute minimal effort (resulting in the sedentary/obesity problem as well), and expect things to be brought to them, and are completely dumbstruck when something doesn’t go their way. In the meantime, they squander whatever successes they manage to achieve by partying and reckless spending until they’re broke. But God forbid that it’s their fault, so it’s time to blame those that fared better than them and demand compensation for doing nothing.
Don’t buy into that GOP BS rhetoric. That is just divisive sh!t to make you hate people that are not Republican. That fact of the matter is that most people, Republican and Democrat, black, white and brown, work hard. I’m a liberal, I work. There will always be a few that milk the system, but never let yourself believe that all the lazy people just happen to differ with you when it come to politics.
My friends wife sits at home, receives unemployment, and does not care about getting a job. She is a strong Republican, who ironically hates lazy people. In her case that means people who are not white. She is not Representative of all Republicans. She makes her own decisions independent from politics.
When it comes to the subject of minorities, you are way off. They are some of the hardest working people I’ve seen. They work their asses off and get sh!t for it. There are plenty who don’t see any opportunity, get crap all their lives and have nothing to give but what they received, but that is not limited to minorities. It is something you see in poor people. Most have no idea there is help; not that there is much help out there.
